BLACK BASS FISHING
1- What is the Black Bass?
The Black Bass is a freshwater gamefish. It is also known by a variety of regional names, such as the brown bass, widemouth bass, bigmouth bass, black bass... an so on.
2- The description
The black bass is an olive green fish, marked by a series of dark,
sometimes black, blotches forming a jagged horizontal stripe along each
flank.
3- The habitat
This fish likes quite waters, for example a reservoir. This specie lives in the vegetation because they can protect there. They like the warm waters. I think that 20ºC is the best temperature, because it causes appetite, and they go up to the surface.

4- The material to go fishing
a) The fishing rod
Models
It is a very good question, ¿which is the best rod to the black bass?
The fishing rod is very important. There are many types of fishing rods, but to the black bass there are only two types: Spinning and casting.
There are three models.
- A road of 1 section.
- A road of 2 sections.
- A road of +2 rections.
Lenght
The best lenght is about 160cm and 250 metres because they are very easy to drive and they are very light.
Action
I think that the best action of a black bass fishing road is about 7-14gr and 5-20gr.
But what is the rod action? For example, with a rod of 7-14gr of action, you can use a bait of 14gr, and with a rod of 20gr you can use a bait of 20gr
(This is an example of a Black Bass fishing road)

My opinion about the rod
I think that the best lenght to catch Black Bass is a rod of 1,50cm because they are very light and very easy to drive.I think that the best action to a fishing rod is 20gr.
b) The bait.
The Black Bass likes frogs, crabs, small fish... an so on. If you like there is live bait. If you dont like live vait, you can use artificial bait.
- Vinyl: The vynils are very new in the market. There are many types of vynil: Of diferent lenght, the form, the colour... The vynils are very used to fish Black Bass in the winter, but I use them always because they are very good. I recomended to people to use vynils in zones that there is vegatation, and in zones that there isn´t much water

- Teaspoon: I think that the teaspoons are the best bait to catch the Black Bass. There are many types of teaspoon, all of them have a colour, a lenght...
People say that the best time to use teaspoons is in the winter, when the black bass is in deep waters. To fishing with teaspoon is recommendable a potent equipment, with a fine fishing line, a good fishing rod...
They are very used in all types of fishing

- Rapalas: Rapalas are a very good bait to catch the Black Bass, there are many types of rapalas. There are rapalas with 1 hooks, rapalas with 2 hooks, rapalas with 3 hooks... there are rapalas of 5 cm, of 7cm...
This type of artificial bait is very used in the spring, when the water of the lake is very cold. Thet are very used in rocky waters. Also, there are many types of rapalas. Some of them have got a rattle to attract fish. These are some photos about types of rapalas.

(This is a type of decoy that has got a bib to deep waters. Sometimes they have got a rattle to attract the Black Bass.)

(This is a Popper, people use them to catch Black Bass on the surface.)

(These are frogs, people use them in vegetation zones, because they are very good to catch Black Bass on the surface)
- Spinner Baits: Spinners are very good, they are quite big and quite heavy. They have a small vinyl and a teaspoon. It is used in all the seasons, they are quite heavy, so I recommended a rod with 5-20gr of action.

(This is an example of a Spinner Bait. If you go to the shop, there are many types of Spinner Baits, there are Spinners with diferent colours...)
My opinion about the bait
Firstly, I like using vynils, because they are many easy to drive in all the waters. Also, I use rapalas and teaspoon, because I like very much them, and they are very effective to catch Black Bass
THESE ARE AN EXAMPLE OF BLACK BASSS BAIT, THERE ARE MANY TYPES.
